Gloria García Díaz is a Mexican writer who has lived in Fort Collins, Colorado for over a decade.  She writes essays, stories, and poems, and has translated Laura Resau’s novel, Star in the Forest, into Spanish. She also translated the newly released picture book Happy Mamas by Kathleen Pelley, and is now collaborating with Laura Resau on their own bilingual picture book. Gloria enjoys traditional Mexican dancing and singing, and spending time with her husband, Celso, and young daughter, Victoria. 



Gloria García Díaz es una escritora bilingüe, danzante folklórica y cantante de canciones mexicanas. Escribe poesía, historias y memorias, y tradujo los libros infantiles Mamis Felices por Kathleen Pelley y Estrella en el bosque por Laura Resau. Ahora Laura y Gloria están colaborando en otro libro para niños. Gloria viene de la Ciudad de México y ahora vive en Colorado con su esposo y su hija pequeña.
